To unlock the controls of the mini excavator, simply raise the red lever located on the left side of the cab. This lever, usually attached to the armrest, is responsible for locking the joystick controls of the mini excavator. Push the lever up until it clicks to unlock the controls, allowing you to move the arm and cab.
However, it is crucial to always check your surroundings before unlocking the controls, ensuring that no people or objects are nearby. If someone approaches the cab or if you get close to an object that you do not want to damage, simply flip the lever back down until the area is clear again. This simple process ensures the safety of both people and equipment when operating the excavator.
To raise and lower the boom of the mini excavator, use the right joystick by moving it back and forth. The boom refers to the section of the digging arm closest to the cab. In iso control, the right joystick is used to control the height of the boom. You can find this joystick in front of the right armrest. Pushing the joystick forward will raise the boom, while pulling it backward will lower it. These instructions are provided in iso because it is a more common compact excavator setting. For SAE, simply reverse the controls to the opposite side. Often the compact digger will have a safety catch for the boom. In the case of some mini crawlers, you will have to activate the boom swing by pressing your thumb against the top of the joystick and shake the handle vigorously.
You can easily open and close the compact crawler bucket by moving the right joystick to the right and left. The bucket is located at the end of the digging arm, and the right joystick is used to control its position. Simply push the joystick to the right to open the bucket, and push it to the left to close it. This intuitive control system allows for precise and efficient operation, giving you the ability to manipulate the mini excavator bucket with ease. Whether you're digging, scooping, or transporting materials, being able to easily open and close the bucket adds a level of versatility to your compact excavator. With the right joystick as your control, you can confidently and effectively manage the bucket's movements to get the job done.
To operate the mini excavator's stick and swing, use the left joystick located in front of the left armrest. Push the joystick forward to extend the stick away from the cab, and pull it backward to retract the stick closer to the cab. The stick is the lower part of the arm attached to the boom and operates like a shin attached to a knee. When using the joystick, make sure to use smooth motions as the machines operate on hydraulic systems and will move as fast as you pull the joysticks. Avoid suddenly letting go of the joysticks to prevent the mini digger machine from rocking quickly. Mastering the control of the left joystick is essential for precise and efficient operation of the mini excavator's stick and swing.
You can easily rotate the cab of the compact excavator by using the left joystick to move it left and right. Additionally, the mini excavator's swing control allows you to rotate the cab as well. Pushing the left joystick in a specific direction will swing the cab accordingly. The cab has the ability to move freely and can make a full 360-degree turn. If you hold the joystick in one direction, the cab will continue spinning in that direction. This feature provides great flexibility and control when operating the mini excavator, allowing for smooth and precise movements during any job.
